2muse has formed a strategic partnership with the China Audio-Visual Association, the largest industry association of digital media publishers and distributors in China.
Shanghai – 2muse, China’s premier music streaming provider for business, has partnered with the China Audio-Visual Association (CAVA), the largest industry association of digital media publishers and distributors in China. The partnership will provide access to over 500 leaders in the distribution of digital content in China, greatly enhancing 2muse’s position in the Chinese digital content marketplace.
CAVA is the only national audio-visual industry trade association recognized by the General Administration of Press and Publications (GAPP) of the People’s Republic of China. Together with the Music Copyright Society of China (MCSC) and the China Audio Visual Copyright Association (CAVCA) also operating under the auspices of the GAPP, the CAVA membership covers nearly all digital content distribution in China.
“We look forward to working with CAVA’s membership to accelerate the availability of high quality, legal content for the Chinese marketplace”, said Edmond Qi, CEO of 2muse. “This partnership means that 2muse is now well positioned to establish relationships with all of the key players in the Chinese digital content industry”, he added. In addition to its role as a trade association, CAVA also acts as a liaison between digital media distribution companies and the Chinese government.
